The notes
BERGAMOT
Bergamot is the fruit of the tree produced by the cross-pollination of lime and bitter orange trees. It grows in particular in the Calabria region of southern Italy, where all the conditions are right to give the essence of this citrus fruit its rare quality. Its origin remains mysterious. Some believe it originated in the East and was introduced to Europe during the crusades in the Middle Ages. Others believe that it was Christopher Columbus who brought it from the Canary Islands. Legend has it that, at the full moon, this citrus fruit shows us where fairies are born. Its tangy, bubbly facets leave a refreshing mark on the citrus head notes of numerous perfume compositions.
PINK PEPPERCORN
Pink Peppercorns are the fruit of a small evergreen, the Peruvian peppertree. Grown in Réunion, whence the nickname “Pink Gold of Réunion”, they resemble peppercorns but are pink and have a strong spicy flavour.

Considered a real panacea by indigenous South Americans, who believed them to have numerous useful properties, pink peppercorns remain a symbol of vitality, fervour and vigour.
The inimitable fragrance of its essential oil, both spicy and delicate, is often used to enhance a too-heady or too-subtle floral accord. Essentially used as a head note, pink peppercorns add a hint of sensuality combined with a sweet, peppery note to mainly feminine compositions.
