AMBER

Legend has it that Phaethon, son of Helios, wanted to drive his father’s chariot and, due to his inexperience, nearly burned the earth. To punish him, Zeus struck him with a thunderbolt. His sisters were so inconsolable that they turned into poplar trees, crying amber-coloured tears on the world.
